Golden Gate Wall
Golden Gate Wall is the euphemistic name for the Golden Gate Ave/Highway 24 overpass, and it is an incredible artificial bouldering spot.
It is made of locally quarried rocks, set into mortar pretty deeply, giving small crimpy holds at the edges, and loads of broken rock texture to experiment on, with three nice fist-sized expansion joints to test crack technique, or throw in a #2.5 camalot for giggles.
To get there, go out 24 towards the Coldecott tunnel, and get off on the Golden Gate Ave exit, circle back, go under the underpass, and park near the playground on the north/east side.
The main attraction is a long traverse under 24. I've heard it called 5.9, which I think is fair, the key is that it is long. Think of it as an endurance deathcrawl. In addition, there's a hands crack near where Broadway goes over, and some other climbs (top rope lengths) nearby.
